Legacy Builder Presentation evening
Last week, we celebrated our annual Legacy Presentation Evening, recognising students whose achievements, efforts and contributions have made a lasting impact. Awards honoured those who have embodied our school values of Respect, Resilience and Aspiration, alongside students who have shown remarkable determination and improvement, achieved academic success, enriched the lives of others within our school and wider community, or excelled in sport. Each award winner represents the many different ways our students are building their own unique Longdendale Legacy.
We were delighted to welcome our guest speaker, Mrs Heard-Jones, who shared her inspiring personal and professional journey. She spoke passionately about the importance of striving to make a positive difference in the lives of others and building a meaningful legacy whilst appreciating the present moment. She also emphasised the value of resilience, reminding us that challenges and setbacks can often become opportunities that shape our character and strengthen our determination to succeed.
The evening also featured a series of outstanding musical performances from our talented students. It was fantastic to see both experienced performers and those new to the stage showcasing their skills with such confidence and enthusiasm.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the evening such a success. Most importantly, congratulations to all our incredible students. We are immensely proud of everything they have achieved and the legacy they continue to build each and every day.
