New dedicated School Bus Service from Glossop to Longdendale High School

We’re delighted to announce that we’re introducing a new dedicated bus service that will transport students to and from Glossop starting in September 2026.

This exciting development will make the journey to Longdendale more accessible for students living in and around the Glossop area. The service will include a number of convenient pick-up and drop-off points across the local vicinity.

At a cost of just £10 per student per week, which covers a return journey, the service provides an affordable travel option for families while helping students arrive on time and ready to learn.

We hope this initiative will help more young people from Glossop benefit from the high-quality education and supportive environment that Longdendale High School provides.

We are currently gathering interest from families who would like to access the service.

Please note, the bus will operate subject to sufficient student numbers.
