Ellie attended the Derbyshire Constabulary Award and Attestation Ceremony and  wasn’t expecting any awards  considering she was sworn in last year. However, we are so incredibly proud to share with you that she has been awarded the following:

• Outstanding Senior Cadet 2018
• Certificate of Nomination for Glossop Cadets Cadet of the Year
• Award of Special Merit (for contributions to the charity fundraising activities of the Derbyshire Volunteer Police Cadet Team 2018)
• National Award for Iron Team Challenge (hosted by the Metropolitan Police)

She was presented with the awards by The High Sherriff of Derbyshire, The Police and Crime Commissioner, The Mayor of High Peak, The Leader of Derbyshire County Council and Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Rachel Osbourne.

Along with this, Ellie is the Glossop North End U16’s girls goalie and was nominated to be part of the Derbyshire Football Academy’s Leadership Academy. She attended their first meeting last week and was the only girl there - the Vice Chair was so pleased to see her and explained that she is great advocate for girls in local community sport. What an achievement.
